Question:

444 Mr. J. Bruton asked the Minister for Health the number of children in County Meath, and in the North-Eastern Health Board area generally, who are awaiting orthodontic treatment, and/or assessment as to whether such treatment is necessary.

According to information supplied to my Department by the North-Eastern Health Board the current waiting lists are as follows:

Priority is of course given to those in the more severe categories.
There are 1,122 children currently undergoing primary and specialist orthodontic care in the North-Eastern Health Board.
