445 Mr. Gregory asked the Minister for Health if he will investigate the circumstances in which a person (details supplied) in Dublin 1 who was taken to the Mater Hospital by ambulance on the instructions of his G.P., was sent home and died the following morning; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

I have received a report from the Mater Hospital which is being examined by the Chief Medical Officer of my Department and I will be in touch with the Deputy in the matter as soon as possible.
