Question:76 Mr. Deenihan asked the Minister for Education the number of Irish students who have benefited from the Erasmus programme in 1992.

The Erasmus programme is organised on an academic year basis rather than on a calendar year basis. In the academic year 1991-92, 791 Irish students benefited from the programme. Provisional figures for the academic year 1992-93 suggest that 1,284 Irish students will participate in the programme.
