Question:291 Mr. Yates asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry if a person (details supplied) in County Wicklow will be approved for a suckler cow quota; and, if so, the level applicable.
Written Answers. - Suckler Cow Quota.
My Department is not satisfied that some cows on which the person named claimed suckler cow premium in June 1992 were ever in his ownership and possession and consequently cannot approve his application for 1992 suckler cow premium.
The suckler cow quota of the person named will be based on the number of animals found in his herd which would have been eligible for premium if his application was fully in order. That number was 29.
