Vol. 428 No. 1

Written Answers. - AIDS-HIV Haemophiliacs Treatment.

Charles Flanagan

Question:

430 Mr. Flanagan asked the Minister for Health the number of haemophiliacs who have died from AIDS related illness in this country to date; and the number of haemophiliacs who have currently been tested positive for HIV antibody.

The information available to me on HIV-AIDS shows that 13 haemophiliacs have died from an AIDS related illness (25 February 1993) and that 106 haemophiliacs have tested positive for HIV antibody.
