481 Mrs. Doyle asked the Minister for Education the support and funding which she is providing for the Steiner Schools in counties Clare and Dublin; and her views on future support and funding; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
Only those primary schools which are recognised national schools, in accordance with the Rules of National Schools, are eligible for receipt of funding from my Department.
The Steiner Schools in Counties Clare and Dublin are private primary schools and, as such, do not receive financial support from my Department.
