Question:

143 Mr. Creed asked the Minister for Finance if the Office of Public Works intends to obtain ownership of a castle (details supplied) in County Cork.

The Office of Public Works has no immediate plans to acquire Liscarroll Castle.

At present, the national monument has guardianship status, which means that the Office of Public Works is responsible for basic conservation works.
