Question:147 Mr. Callely asked the Minister for Education if she will review the application by a person (details supplied) in Dublin 3 to avail of a higher education grant in view of the circumstances of this family.

Dublin Corporation is statutorily entrusted with the administration of the higher education grants scheme in this case, and I understand that the corporation has notified the person in question that he has been deemed ineligible for a grant on the basis that family reckonable income exceeded the prescribed income limit.
I understand that neither Dublin Corporation nor my Department has received any appeal in this case.
