Question:282 Mr. J. Higgins asked the Minister for Health the reason for the delay in processing an application for disabled persons maintenance allowance in respect of a person (details supplied) in County Mayo.
Written Answers. - Disabled Person's Maintenance Allowance.
Payment of disabled persons maintenance allowance in any individual case is a matter for the health board concerned. Accordingly, the Deputy's question has been referred to the Chief Executive Officer, Western Health Board with a request that he examine the matter and reply directly to the Deputy as a matter of urgency.
