90 Ms McManus asked the Minister for Social Welfare if his attention has been drawn to the difficulties being experienced by the Little Bray Resource Centre in County Wicklow as a consequence of the delay in allocating the grant under the community development scheme; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
The Little Bray Resource Centre was funded by my Department in 1991 and 1992 under the scheme of grants to locally-based women's groups which I introduced. The group applied for funding under the community development programme. I have agreed to their inclusion. My Department will be in contact with the group shortly about the funding arrangements.
