Question:

124 Ms McManus asked the Minister for the Environment if he will sanction the extension of the Bray sewerage scheme to Kilmacanogue, County Wicklow, the proposal for which has been submitted to his Department by Wicklow County Council.

The preliminary report for a sewerage scheme for Kilmacanogue is under consideration in my Department. Having regard to the existing level of commitments on the Water and Sanitary Services Programme, I am not in a position to say when a decision may be made.
