168 Mr. Bradford asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry if, in view of the work load which will be involved in the processing of area aid forms including farm inspections and other such processing, extra permanent or temporary staff will be recruited by his Department.

A proportion of the additional funds allocated by the Government to implement the reform of the Common Agricultural Policy is being used to recruit additional staff to undertake farm inspections and to process area aid applications.
