Vol. 432 No. 5

Written Answers. - Physiotherapy Waiting List.

Bernard Allen

Question:

83 Mr. Allen asked the Minister for Health the reason a person (details supplied) in County Cork has been told that he will have to wait five months to have essential physiotherapy carried out at Cork Regional Hospital; and the reason he has been forced to have private treatment although he is a medical card holder.

I have asked the Southern Health Board for a report on this particular case and I will communicate further with the Deputy when I receive this report.
