Vol. 433 No. 7

Written Answers. - Respite and Long Term Care Facilities.

Richard Bruton

Question:

140 Mr. R. Bruton asked the Minister for Health the number of beds in the Eastern Health Board area providing respite and long term care, respectively, for patients with psycho-geriatric conditions; whether this provision is adequate to meet the present needs; and the plans, if any, he has to sanction spending to increase such provision.

The information is not readily available in my Department. I will contact the Eastern Health Board for the information and communicate directly with the Deputy.
