Vol. 434 No. 2

Written Answers. - Proposed New Fire Station.

Bernard J. Durkan

Question:

214 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for the Environment the extent to which his Department has completed its review of submissions from Naas UDC regarding the location and provision of a new fire station at Naas, County Kildare; if all outstanding difficulties have been resolved in relation to the siting of the station; if agreement has been reached on the cost of the site; if it is expected that approval will be given in the near future to proceed with the project; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

Kildare County Council's proposals for a new fire station at Naas are being examined in my Department and I hope to communicate with the Council in the matter at an early date.
