Question:136 Mr. McCormack asked the Minister for Education the position regarding the provision of a new national school for Corrandulla, County Galway; and if this school will be included in the 1994 Estimates.

Architectural planning has been completed and a bill of quantities is currently being prepared. When this has been completed the project will be ready to proceed to tender. It was not possible to include this project among those approved for inclusion in the 1993 national school capital programme. It will be considered for inclusion in the 1994 capital programme in the light of available resources and other commitments and priorities.
