Vol. 434 No. 4

Written Answers. - Ordnance Survey Office.

Enda Kenny

Question:

44 Mr. E. Kenny asked the Minister for Finance if he will give details of the acquisition and leasing of property (details supplied) in County Galway; if he has satisfied himself that tendering procedures were strictly adhered to in this instance; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

A number of premises in Tuam were identified as potential locations for the Ordnance Survey Office. Following investigation it was decided to locate the office in the former Sugar Company premises. I am satisfied that in selecting this premises all relevant procedures pertaining to accommodation procurements were followed by the Office of Public Works.
