Vol. 435 No. 2

Written Answers. - Grant Payments.

Paul Connaughton

Question:

68 Mr. Connaughton asked the Minister for the Environment the reason a person (details supplied) in County Galway did not receive a new house grant in view of the fact that his house is under grant size and he is now living in the house on a full time basis.

A grant cannot be allowed as, contrary to a condition of the scheme, the applicant did not, on completion of the house, occupy it as his normal place of residence.
