Question:189 Mr. Broughan asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry the gross farm income in 1992, the average farm income in that year; and the portion of that income represented by CAP subsidies.
Written Answers. - Average Farm Income.
Aggregate farm income as measured by the Central Statistics Office amounted to £1,842.5 million in 1992. The average farm income i.e. excluding farmer's income from activities other than agriculture, was £7,172 in 1992 including £2,165 of subsidies, according to estimates published by Teagasc.
