Written Answers. - Commissioning of Reports-Inquiries.

Peter Barry

Question:

119 Mr. Barry asked the Minister for Enterprise and Employment if his Department has been responsible for commissioning reports and/or inquiries over the past five years; if so, the nature and number of these; their cost; the number published or awaiting publication.

Details of fifty-seven reports/inquiries which have been commissioned by the Department of Enterprise and Employment, which includes reports/inquiries commissioned by the former Departments of Industry and Commerce and Labour, are set out in the Table below. The list does not include annual or periodic reports produced by the Department or its agencies as part of ongoing operations.

The cost associated with each report are those which were borne by the Department and may not in all cases reflect the full cost of the commission.
