Vol. 436 No. 2

Written Answers. - Standard of Hygiene in Barber Shops.

Chris Flood

Question:

113 Mr. Flood asked the Minister for Health if he has satisfied himself with the standard of hygiene in barber shops; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

I have not received any complaints about hygiene in barber shops. In the event of a member of the public being aware of, or concerned about, the conditions of hygiene in barber shops which would pose a threat to public health, he-she should bring the matter to the attention of the local DCC-MOH.
