Vol. 436 No. 7

Written Answers. - Aughacasla (Kerry) School.

Jimmy Deenihan

Question:

217 Mr. Deenihan asked the Minister for Education the present position regarding repairs to Aughacasla national school, Castlegregory, County Kerry.

My Department has agreed in principle to provide an extension of two classrooms and toilets at Aughacasla national school, Castlegregory, County Kerry. There are some difficulties in obtaining planning permission for this project and my Department's architect is in consultation with the planning authorities and the chairman regarding this matter. When planning permission is received detailed drawings will be prepared before tenders are invited.
