Vol. 436 No. 8

Written Answers. - Teagasc Staff Relocation.

Proinsias De Rossa

Question:

82 Proinsias De Rossa asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry if, in regard to the proposal to locate the Environmental Protection Agency in Johnstown Castle, County Wexford, he will give the arrangements, if any, that are being made for the relocation of the Teagasc staff and operations; the cost of such relocation; the cost of the refurbishment of Johnstown Castle to accommodate the Environmental Protection Agency; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

I refer to the reply by the Minister for the Environment to Question No. 123 of 17 November 1993.

Detailed arrangements and costs do not arise until the examination of the accommodation requirements of the Environmental Protection Agency is completed.
