Question:

522 Mr. Lowry asked the Minister for Health if he will provide capital funding for a new community care headquarters in Nenagh, County Tipperary, which will include a new health centre for the Nenagh area, in view of the fact that a site has been provided at Ashe Road, and planning permission has already been received for this project.

I propose to take Questions Nos. 518, 519 and 522 together.

I am at present preparing a medium-term plan for the development of health centres which will take account of the priority needs of individual health boards. Discussions in regard to this programme will taken place with individual health boards in the near future.
