Vol. 438 No. 2

Written Answers. - Baldoyle (Dublin) Flood Relief Scheme.

Thomas P. Broughan

Question:

75 Mr. Broughan asked the Minister for the Environment when the list of allocations for water and drainage schemes will be published; and if his Department has received tenders for Phase 2 of the Baldoyle flood relief scheme, Dublin 13, from Fingal County Council.

Contract documents have already been approved for Phase 1 of the Baldoyle flood relief scheme which is being carried out by direct labour. I have also conveyed approval to Fingal County Council for Phase 2 of the scheme which will be carried out by contract. It is now a matter for the council to arrange for the advertisement of tenders.

Capital allocations for water and sanitary services will be notified by my Department as soon as possible following completion of requested returns by local authorities.
