Vol. 438 No. 3

Written Answers. - Disabled Person's Maintenance Allowance.

Bernard Allen

Question:

145 Mr. Allen asked the Minister for Health when a decision will be made on the application of a person (details supplied) in County Cork who has applied to the Southern Health Board for disabled person's maintenance allowance and who has still not received a decision.

Payment of disabled person's maintenance allowance in any individual case is a matter for the health board concerned. Accordingly, the Deputy's question has been referred to the chief executive officer, Southern Health Board with a request that he examine the matter and reply direct to the Deputy as a matter of urgency.
