158 Mrs. Doyle asked the Minister for the Environment which counties now have a park superintendent.
The creation and filling of such offices is a matter for the local authorities concerned in the first instance. According to the latest information available to my Department, parks superintendents are employed by the county borough corporations of Cork, Dublin and Limerick and by the county councils of Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown, Fingal and South Dublin. Other local authorities avail from time to time, on an agency basis, of the services of parks superintendents in relation to particular projects.
