112 Mr. Currie asked the Minister for Education when she will give approval to the County Dublin Vocational Education Committee to enter into negotiations to acquire an identified site for the proposed community college at Castleknock, County Dublin; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
Discussions are ongoing between County Dublin Vocational Education Committee, the landowners and the planning department, Fingal County Council, to identify a suitable location for the proposed Community College at Diswellstown, Castleknock. On receipt of a satisfactory site suitability report on the agreed location the vocational education committee will be authorised to enter into negotiations for its acquisition.
