Question:191 Mr. E. Kenny asked the Minister for Health the up-to-date position with regard to the provision of an old people's home in Achill Sound, Westport, County Mayo; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

There has been no change in the situation since my reply to a similar question from the Deputy in December last. It has not been possible to include in the Western Health Board's capital allocation for 1994 any funding for the building of a community nursing unit for the elderly.
