Question:

229 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Education if she has received an application for grant aid from the proceeds of the national lottery from Leixlip youth group, County Kildare; if she will award a grant to this group in 1994; and if she will make a statement on the matter.

An application has been received from the Leixlip youth group under my Department's recreational facilities scheme.

All applications received under the scheme are under consideration and a decision in the matter will be conveyed to the group as soon as possible.
