Written Answers. - Implementation of EU Directive.
Directive 92/51/EEC of 18 June 1992 on a Second General System for the recognition of professional education and training has not as yet been transposed into Irish law. However, substantial work has been carried out on the drafting of the necessary Statutory Instrument which will enacted under section 3 of the European Communities Act, 1972.
