247 Mr. D. Ahern asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry the situation regarding the application of a person (details supplied) in County Louth to be put on the approved list for the rural environmental protection scheme; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [2224/94]
The application on behalf of this person for approval as a planner under the rural environment protection scheme, REPS, has been examined by officials of my Department and, unfortunately, his qualifications do not meet the requirement for approved planners under the scheme. A letter to this effect will issue to the applicant shortly.
