Question:

105 Mr. Kenneally asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry when suckler cow headage payment will be made to a person (details supplied) in County Waterford. [1668/95]

The person named was paid an advance of her 1994 suckler cow premium on 3 November 1994. Payment of her 1994 beef cow grant will be considered if she supplies her RSI number to my Department in accordance with the terms and conditions of the scheme.

Since January 1994, farmers applying for disadvantaged areas headage payments which in total amount to between £500 and £5,000 must state the following on their application form(s): their RSI number, the tax office dealing with their affairs, that to the best of their knowledge, their tax affairs are in order.

Question:

106 Éamon Ó Cuív asked the Minister for Transport, Energy and Communications when a decision will be given on an application by a person (details supplied) in County Galway for a grant under the supply of electricity to farm holders scheme. [1610/95]

The information provided by the applicant was insufficient to enable a decision to be taken on his eligibility for grant-aid and additional information has been requested. On receipt of this information further consideration will be given to the application.
