89 Mrs. O'Rourke asked the Minister for Defence if he will introduce a relaxation in the Army tenant purchase scheme in order that a member of the Defence Forces may sell his Army house before the ten-year period in view of particular social circumstances. [6709/95]

There are no plans to modify the general restriction on the resale of married quarters within a period of ten years. Resales are, however, allowed in individual cases in consideration of the payment of a sum which is determined by reference to the circumsances of the particular case.
