Vol. 453 No. 2

Written Answers. - Grant Payments.

Rory O'Hanlon

Question:

114 Dr. O'Hanlon asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry when a person (details supplied) in County Cavan who applied in October 1994 will be allocated a grant for control of farmyard pollution. [9124/95]

While the applicant in this case has been visited, approval to commence work had not issued by 27 April when the scheme was suspended. In accordance with my announcement of 17 May, and subject to meeting the conditions of the scheme, the applicant will be issued with conditional approval to proceed with specified works on the understanding that payment is guaranteed in 1997.
