84 Mr. A. Reynolds asked the Minister for Education if she will sanction appropriate funding to Longford Vocational Education Committee in order to complete the work on the new sports and recreation hall at Granard, for the benefit of the students and community in the Granard area. [9568/95]
An application seeking grant aid for the extension and development works at Granard vocational school sports hall has been received by my Department and is currently under consideration in the context of the funds available under the major sports facilities programme. A decision in this matter will be conveyed to the Longford Vocational Education Committee as soon as possible.
