Vol. 453 No. 7

Written Answers. - Official Receptions.

Mary O'Rourke

Question:

36 Mrs. O'Rourke asked the Minister for Arts, Culture and the Gaeltacht the number of official receptions hosted since the change of Government on 15 December 1994; the number planned for the remainder of 1995; the events or meetings these receptions mark; and the number and purpose of such receptions during 1994. [7957/95]

Eight official receptions were hosted by me since 15 December 1994. At present four further receptions are planned for 1995 and a total of 11 receptions were hosted by me during 1994.

I should state that in a number of cases the costs involved were not borne by my Department. A tabular statement detailing the events in question will be circulated in the Official Report.
