Robert Molloy

Question:

It is proposed to take Questions Nos. 29 and 55 together.

The figures released recently by the Central Statistics Office indicate that the number of overseas visitors to Ireland in the period January to March of this year was 615,000, which represents an increase of 16.7 per cent over the same period in 1994. This impressive performance is in line with the growth anticipated in all our principal markets and indicates that 1995 will be one of the best years ever in terms of overseas visitor numbers.
