60 Mr. D. Ahern asked the Minister for Justice the current position regarding the land registry application for registration by a person (details supplied) in County Monaghan; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [11563/95]
I am informed by the Registrar of Titles that dealing No. C3582/95 refers to an application under section 49 (that is acquisition of title by possession) of the Registration of Title Act, 1964, which was lodged in the Land Registry by the applicant's solicitors on 16 May 1995. I understand that due to their complicated nature such dealings usually take some time to process.
I am further informed that the Land Registry issued queries to the applicant's solicitors on 20 June 1995 to which a reply is awaited.
