59 Kathleen Lynch asked the Minister for Education if she will issue guidelines on the admission of pupils who do not wish to wear uniforms to schools in view of the recent controversy that arose at a school (details supplied) in County Donegal. [11599/95]
The recent situation in County Donegal relates to the non-wearing of school uniforms during the certificate examinations.
It is my Department's intention to discuss with the relevant bodies the most appropriate approach to such situations in the future, having regard to the rights and obligations of all the parties concerned.
