These project teams are multi-disciplinary groups established to draw up the brief and subsequently to monitor the planning, designing, building, equipping and commissioning of hospitals or extensions to existing hospital infrastructure. The membership of project teams normally consists of the chief executive officer or programme manager concerned with the hospital care service involved and experienced medical and nursing representation from the staff of the hospital concerned as well as representatives of my Department.
