123 Mr. Gregory asked the Minister for Justice if the Garda will investigate reports that a person (details supplied) in Dublin 1 is permitting the use of her flat for drug abuse by addicts and is a constant source of disruption at nighttime; and if she will have arrangements made to have the area regularly patrolled. I am informed by the Garda authorities that they are aware of the situation referred to by the Deputy and that they are taking all necessary steps to prevent the activity complained of. In this regard, I have been informed that the flat in question was searched by gardaí last December and that the situation continues to receive ongoing attention.
