224 Mr. Gregory asked the Minister for Education if his Department has received an application for national lottery funding from Sheriff Youth Club, Dublin 1; and if so, when a decision will be made on the application. [16279/95]

Minister for Education (Ms Bhreathnach):

An application has been received in my Department from Sheriff Youth Club seeking assistance under the recreational facilities scheme.

The question of a grant for this project is being considered at present in the context of the funds available and a decision in the matter will be made as soon as possible.
