82 Miss Harney asked the Minister for Finance if an examination for prison officers (details supplied) was held by the Civil Service Commission; if so, the reason additional time was not granted to the candidates; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [15990/95]
I am informed by the Civil Service Commissioners that an examination for prison officer was held on 4 July 1995. Candidates were allowed an hour to complete the examination paper. The Civil Service Commissioners have confirmed that candidates at the venue named and time stated, received the full hour allowed to complete the examination paper.
