Vol. 459 No. 3

Written Answers. - Employment Targets.

Albert Reynolds

Question:

108 Mr. Reynolds asked the Minister for Equality and Law Reform if the Government's employment targets for people with disability have been met by all State companies; and if he will give details of the performance of each company. [18072/95]

The information requested is not available in my Department. I understand, however, that the Secretariat to the Monitoring Committee on the Employment of People with Disabilities, which operates from the Department of the Taoiseach, carries out surveys from time to time in relation to State bodies. The latest comprehensive set of data available from this source is in respect of October 1993.

I will forward this to the Deputy immediately. Another comprehensive survey will be undertaken to establish the end-1995 position and I will ask that the results be made available to the Deputy.
