Vol. 460 No. 3

Written Answers. - Drogheda (Louth) Harbour Authority Proposals.

Michael Bell

Question:

610 Mr. Bell asked the Minister for the Marine the progress, if any, that has been made in relation to the deep sea proposals by Drogheda Harbour Authority at Tom Roes Point and the dredging of the River Boyne, as sanctioned by him; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [19118/95]

This proposal will be evaluated by the external evaluator over the coming months to determine that the project fully meets the criteria for EU grant aid set down in the transport operational programme.

Upon compliance with all marine licensing requirements and other permissions work can proceed for completion within the term of the O.P.
