611 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for the Marine when a salmon farm fallowing licence will be issued to a company (details supplied) in County Mayo in view of the fact that any further delay could result in the long-term loss of thirty jobs. [19307/96]

The proposal is currently being assessed from a variety of technical and other perspectives, in consultation with relevant interests and a decision in the matter will be finalised shortly.
