Vol. 460 No. 4

Ceisteanna—Questions. Written Answers. - Scoil Eanna, Navan (Meath).

Colm M. Hilliard

Question:

62 Mr. Hilliard asked the Minister for Education if her attention has been drawn to the current serious accommodation situation at Scoil Eanna, Navan, County Meath; and the immediate plans, if any, she has to remedy the problem. [1493/96]

I am aware of the inadequate accommodation at Scoil Eanna, Navan, County Meath. An official from my Department has met the school authorities on a number of occasions in recent months to discuss the problem and a site inspection was carried out very recently by a member of the Department's professional staff. As soon as this report is available, the question of how best to address the school's accommodation problem will be considered urgently.
