Question:

27 Mr. McGrath asked the Minister for Arts, Culture and the Gaeltacht the plans, if any, he has to have the ruins of the old church at Faithlegge, County Waterford and the adjoining graveyard which contains the grave of Thomas Francis Meagher's family declared a national monument. [3190/96]

Recognition and legal protection have been afforded to the ruins of the church and the adjoining graveyard at Faithlegge, County Waterford, pursuant to the provisions of section 12 of the National Monuments (Amendment) Act, 1994.
