Vol. 461 No. 5
67 Dr. O'Hanlon asked the Minister for Finance the total amount being spent in the case of each operational programme involving European funds; and the per capita funding to each region from Exchequer funds. [3286/96]
The Community Support Framework (CSF) 1994-1999 comprises ten operational programmes and one project (Tallaght Hospital). Total planned expenditure (public, EU and private) over the life of the CSF is £8,386.57 million in 1994 prices. The planned expenditure under each operational programme and Tallaght Hospital is shown at Table I.
Based on returns from lead Departments of projected expenditure (1994 prices) in respect of operational programmes and Tallaght Hospital but excluding the CSF technical assistance programme which is not allocated on a regional basis, the net per capita Exchequer funding (i.e. net of EU funding) to each region under CSF 1994-1999 is shown at Table II.
